In a room surrounded by windows and lush, textured landscaping outside it was important to not compete with what Mother Nature had already designed. Changing out a dated fireplace with a standard gas insert, custom metal fabrication and concrete surround and hearth and a glass mantel provides a subtle yet interesting backdrop for the original abstract art in the space. We layered in furnishings and decor to invite people to stay awhile and connect with one another.
