Anne Holbrook Interior Design is a Portland-founded studio expanding its practice to Spain in 2026.
AHID designs substantial residential renovations and whole-home interiors, from architectural materials, lighting and millwork to furnishings and custom pieces.
Barcelona is becoming a new point of orientation for the studio — opening another place from which to look, learn and design, and new opportunities to collaborate across the U.S., Spain and beyond.

Spain isn't new territory for me. I studied Spanish in college and lived in Sevilla, experiences that shaped how I see the world long before I became a designer. Returning now with AHID feels less like discovering a new place and more like beginning a new chapter in a place that has never left me.
I'm at Feria de Hábitat to look closely, ask better questions and build relationships with the designers, makers, manufacturers and collaborators shaping design here. Not simply to bring Spanish ideas back to the U.S. but to explore what can happen when ideas, perspectives and ways of making move in both directions.
