Pacific Lonestar Ranch

A young family relocating from Texas to Oregon wanted to update their new home to lose the “grandma vibes” and make it feel like them — an embrace of his Texas roots and her Portland, Oregon upbringing. The design approach removed an existing wrap-around railing and banister separating the sunken living room from the rest of the space and designing a slat wall in its place. The outdated tile was replaced with updated versions in keeping with the vision, floating shelves to accentuate the soaring vaulted ceilings and provide display and storage solutions, as well as all new furnishings and lighting. We selected a complete interior and exterior paint palette, new lighting fixtures, an updated front door, and all new hardware throughout the home to give this sweet family a fresh start in Oregon.
